A few years ago, a studio demo in Nashville highlighted the potential of our speakers but also pointed out areas for improvement. We were encouraged from feedback that our Divas were the first time a speaker had shown the potential to be a single source monitor, full range single driver, something the pro audio world thought would never happen. Experimenting with different drivers led us to discover that the Diva eight-inch driver performed exceptionally well on its own.

Over the years, we developed various speaker configurations using MarkAudio drivers, achieving great results and positive feedback. However, a few years ago we found out about a new chemical process created by MarkAudio that was receiving rave reviews in Japan, a market renowned for their high quality and exacting standards. Intrigued by the claims, and aware of the potential that these new drivers held for the U.S. market, we obtained a pair of MAOP 11 drivers to test.

The MAOP (Magnetic Arc Oxidisation Process or Plasma Electrolytic Oxidisation) is a premium technique used for top-of-the-line Markaudio drivers. This complex process involves high temperatures and is ten times more expensive than standard methods. It creates a crystalline coating on the cone material, enhancing both durability and sound quality by combining the benefits of metal and paper cones. Due to the demanding nature of this process, only a few drivers are produced, and they are mainly available in Asia.

After breaking in the drivers, we installed them with our ARIA engine. Within seconds, it was clear that these drivers lived up to their reputation. MarkAudio agreed to supply us with these drivers as available, making Fyssion Audio Co. one of the few suppliers in the U.S. After extensive listening and feedback, we decided to name the new product line “Bezalel” to reflect the exceptional craftsmanship and resulting audio experience.

The versatility of our system allows users to start with smaller drivers and gradually build up for a richer sound. The addition of the MAOP drivers has elevated our offerings to new heights, prompting the creation of the Bezalel premium line.

Our goal will always be to offer the highest quality audio experience at an affordable price, a goal that remains true even with the premium Bezalel line. We believe our “Organic Audio™” trademark represents the pinnacle of transparency and accuracy in the market.

The Bezalel speakers are available in limited quantities due to their handcrafted production in the mountains of North Carolina. Due to the rarity of the drivers themselves, lead time will be a couple weeks. We will take orders and fulfill them as stock allows.
